TORONTO: Sentry Select Capital Corp. (“Sentry Select”) announces that unitholders of Precious Metals and Mining Trust (the “Trust”) who redeemed their units of the Trust effective September 30, 2008, will receive $5.57 per unit redeemed. Payment will be made on or before October 22, 2008. The redemption amount was determined in accordance with clause (ii) of the definition of Net Realized Proceeds per Unit set out in the Trust’s Declaration of Trust, as Sentry Select determined that it was not practicable to make the dispositions described in clause (i) of that definition.
